The MAN Museum in Augsburg, a joint venture of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE and MAN SE, uses original exhibits, models, pictures and information boards to take visitors on a journey through time from the first diesel engine to today's innovative products and services.
MAN and manroland web systems have been producing diesel engines and printing presses in Augsburg since the 19th century. The MAN Museum has been dedicated to these two products among other works of MAN engineering in the premises of the former Research Institute for Mechanics and Design since 1953.

In addition, a photo gallery provides an insight into the historical and current product range, as well as the social aspects of the company.
The historical archive which stores over 1.5 million documents concerning the history of the MAN Group and its predecessor companies is also part of the museum.
